A Chance To Visit The House Of Allah

Muslims love to do any act which can please Allah Almighty. We just want to follow the footsteps of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). There is a great difference between wanting and trying. Muslims want to perform Umrah but the thing is what they do to fulfill their desire. Making dua is a beautiful effort that should be done by all Muslims. I always used to make dua to Allah Almighty for going to Umrah. And Allah (SWT) accepted my dua and gave me this amazing chance.

I had very exciting feelings and I did my preparation. I took a small bag with eight pockets and filled that bag with all important and necessary things. Following the sunnah of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) takes you a path of success. My father gave me a book of duas and I learnt all of them. I went to the house of Allah (SWT) with my father. The beauty of Ka’bah cannot find words. We did not go straight to our hotel for rest. We were so happy and we decided to perform Umrah first. While doing tawaf, my father was with me and he didn’t left my hand. You really feel so blessed when you realize that you are here for the sake of Allah Almighty.

Being a part of that huge crowd is really a blessing. When we went to Haram, we couldn’t find place to offer the prayer of Zohar and luckily I had two small prayer mats on that moment. We offered prayer on the road which was burning with heat and prayer mats protected us from the heat. We become lazy in our normal routine and often leave prayers without any reason.

But in the house of Allah, you really do not even think to leave a single prayer and I felt this change in myself. When I saw the huge crowd in the night, I thought that sacrificing your sleep for the sake of Allah is not so difficult. You just need a little courage for this sacrifice and you can offer tahajjud. I got that courage and set an alarm for tahajjud and after praying one tahajjud, I got the amazing taste of it and so made it my best habit.

When I was in Masjid-e-Nabwi, I took a large breath and smelled the air of Masjid. To be at a place that was made by the beautiful hands of our last prophet gives you an amazing feeling. I saw Ohad  Mountain and graves of many Sahaba. While doing ziyarat of scared places, I felt a determination in myself. I asked my father to do something for the extension of visa because leaving that place was so difficult for me. My father said to me to make dua to Allah for the next tour. I was crying like a small kid but left that place. After reaching home, I missed that journey but I am trying to be the same as I was in there. I have a strong hope and always make dua for the next tour.
