WAYS TO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE QAYAMAH

Qayamah

A person cannot be a considered as Muslim until he or she believes in the world hereafter and also that this world will end one day and at the day of judgement or Qayamat from a true heart. Every Muslim has to believe in the Day of Judgment, at that day it will be decided what the person going to get either heaven (jannat) or hell (dozakh). Every person will get according to what he has done in the world.

Islam puts great emphasis on the imperativeness of the Day of Judgment. Therefore, every Muslim understands that believing in the world hereafter is one of the main beliefs and like other Islamic beliefs a Muslim should believe in this with heart.

One thing that every Muslim should keep in their mind is that the judgment day is a result of what a Muslim has done in world. In Quran, ALLAH says (2:110):

Translation: “And whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with Allah. For Allah sees Well all that ye do.”

In the above verse it’s clear that whatever a person do in this world, either good or bad, its act send to the world hereafter and on the bases of his or her acts and deeds a person will get heaven or hell. It is important for all the Muslim to sends good as much as possible, so in return he or she could receive a good reward.

Following are few ways by which a Muslim can ensure that on the Day of Qayamat, he or she receives heavens as a reward.

* Following the Five Pillars of Islam:

The first and the most important thing that a Muslim should do in order to prepare for the judgment day is to fulfil the obligations that are instructed by ALLAH, and for this a Muslim must have to follow the five pillars of Islam and should believe in them. Firstly, a Muslim must believe that there is only ALLAH throughout life and he has no partners with Him. Secondly, a Muslim must perform the daily Salah five times a day on regular bases. Thirdly, fasting in the month of Holy Ramadan also needs to be done by every Muslim. The fourth pillar of Islam is giving of Alms-giving or Zakat. Paying Zakat is actually helping other Muslims for making their lives better. The fifth and the last pillar of Islam is the pilgrimage to the house of ALLAH Almighty that is obligatory upon every Muslim must do if they are able, by following the pillars of Islam one can send good deeds for hereafter.

* Fulfil Sunnah:

 If a Muslim wishes to present himself good on the Day of Judgment, then he or she must fulfil the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). By fulfilling the Sunnah of Prophet (PBUH) Muslim will get great reward.

* Read Quran:

Muslim gets reward in reciting each and every word of Quran. One must also understand Quran and its real message, once a Muslim understand the message of Quran than he or she can easily apply that in his daily life and ensure staying on the path of righteousness.

 * Be Good to People:

A Muslim have to to be good with other people, must love others, create patient and tolerant, forgive them and help each other so none of the people has any complaints against you on the Day of Judgment.
